Moodle Quiz Builder

Need to quickly create Moodle quizzes without navigating through multiple pages? This Moodle Quiz creator enables you to easily make popular quiz types with common settings (excluding advanced options). You can then export your quiz as an XML file for easy import into Moodle. The quiz data is saved locally, so refreshing the page won’t delete your progress. Additionally, you can save your quiz as a JSON file to load it later into the tool. This tool is hosted on this website and embedded below, you can make the app full screen using the button provided.

Files are processed locally and not uploaded to my website, so your data stays private.

At the moment, the following advanced options are not available:

• Scoring percentages are disabled so you cannot negatively score options
• All questions will shuffle responses automatically
• Multiple choice questions are hard-coded to A,B,C,D format.

You can easily change these settings in Moodle if needed when you import your XML file. These options weren’t added in because they are typically default settings I utilise and have never needed to change them.
