Instructional Designer

So I recently changed some domains around so instead of Scott.Irish I can now be located on InstructionalDesigner.ie. A much more fitting domain I think. But the icing on the cake is that I also have ScottWilson.ie so you can locate me on either domain.

I have always had some sort of an online portfolio. Since around the age of… about 15 years old, I used DeviantArt (the portfolio is still up there 😉) and that was my platform for sharing drawings and early stages of Photoshop and 3D Studio Max. Most artists and designers will agree that getting your work out there into the world is the best way to get critique and improve oneself, albeit a frightening experience altogether.

Throughout my student years, I then updated my portfolio through platforms such as CarbonMade and finally built my own website in HTML/CSS and my final portfolio which has a small sample left on ArtStation. But then I stopped…

A fork in the road.

My career path went from 3D game art to education pretty quickly, which has now spun into the quirky field of Instructional Design with a hint of Web Design/Development. So this is why I am here, with a few years of experience in the field, now I am planning to build connections with other like-minded individuals and try to get my work out there to improve and grow my skills.

Writing is not my strong suit
